Ciro Discepolo was born in Naples in 1948, where he works as a journalist and writer. He worked for twenty years with the most popular daily of his town, Il Mattino. He worked for five years at the CNR (National Research Council). He has been dealing with astrology since 1970. He has published about sixty-five books, most of them best-sellers in Italy as well as abroad. In 1990 he founded the quarterly Ricerca ‘90, which he’s been publishing since then. He has been doing statistical researches from the very beginning of his interest in astrology. At the beginning of the ’90s, he obtained very brilliant results with researches on astral heredity on a sample of over 75,000 subjects. He has held seminars, courses and lectures in different universities in Italy and abroad, and in several culture clubs. He is deeply interested in informatics. Astrologically speaking, he followed the school of André Barbault. He founded the school of Active Astrology.

Filled with colorful and informative photos (there is a picture for every recipe), this book not only is great to look at but also gives good information for those of us who are competent but not particularly instinctive when it comes to cooking. I love the Deja Review series a lot of info in flash card format. Is known at all that Astrology is a vast subject and that the Natal chart is the foundation of all astrological studies on the Microcosm-man.
Ciro Discepolo gives with the book "The Fundaments of Medical Astrology" the basis for reading the Radix chart focusing on a very important topic: the health.
The author gives us this personal work and the result is a book that is not a teaching manual, but is based on the authoritative its school of thought.
